Accident Reconstruction

A retainer of $650.00 is required and is non-refundable.  The rate is $130.00 per hour plus expenses.  The retainer is used to cover the first 5 hours of work.  There are no charges for the first initial contact.  Federal Tax ID Number is 61-1213778

 

Mapping a Scene and Vehicles with Total Station

The rate is $160.00 per hour including travel time.  It takes two men to map a scene or a vehicle using the "total station."  Scale drawings are made at the hourly rate.

 

2D and 3D Animation and Scale Drawings

$2,000.00        1 Vehicle Animated with 2 different Camera views
$3,000.00        Two Vehicle Animated with 2 different Camera views

 

“Crash Data Retrieval System” (Downloading Data from Passenger Vehicle’s Black Box.)

The rate is $130.00 per hour including travel time.
Plus an Equipment Charge of $250.

Note:  It is recommended that a full investigation and reconstruction of the accident be conducted and that the data retrieved from the “EDR” is a supplement to the reconstruction specialist analyst.

 

Testimony

A $650.00 payment is required one week in advance for:

1. Deposition
2. Arbitration
3. Court appearance

Note: The advanced payment includes travel time to and from the site of the deposition when in Jefferson County and the first two hours of the deposition beginning at the scheduled start of the deposition.  When the testimony goes beyond two hours an additional charge will be made at a rate of $130.00 and hour at quarter hour increments.
The advanced payment is non-refundable if notice of cancellation is less than forty-eight hours prior to the scheduled start of the testimony.
Appearance outside of Jefferson County will be charged the normal rate of $650.00 plus an additional rate of $130.00 and hour for travel time and $0.50 per mile.

Miscellaneous Expenses

Expenses normally charged but are not limited to the following:

• Photographs at $2.00 per photo
• Mileage at $0.50 per mile
